The Free Minds Project is an initiative led by two City High seniors, Veronica Abreu and Marisa Rude, whose goal to inform students and teachers about the opioid and prescription drug misuse crisis in the United States and how it translates to our community. This MLK Day presentation will provide information about drug misuse and open a conversation about how the problem is a part of students’ everyday lives and what actions young people can do to address it. Students signing up for this discussion are granting permission for their comments to be used for a future Free Minds podcast. Maximum number of students is 15. Students should bring a Chromebook.
